The Ozone Unit within the National Environmental Authority invites qualified suppliers to submit quotations for the supply of an RFID label printer with an integrated data management system, to support the tracking and management of chemical substances in accordance with national and international commitments, including the Montreal Protocol.
This system will be used to identify, monitor, and trace chemical substances and must comply with industrial standards regarding safety, durability, and traceability.
- Support for UHF RFID technology (EPC Gen2 / ISO 18000-6C).
- Minimum resolution: 300 dpi.
- Minimum print speed: 100 mm/sec.
- Interfaces: USB, Ethernet (mandatory), Wi-Fi (optional).
- Support for both thermal transfer and direct thermal printing methods.
- Suitable for use in environments with potential chemical exposure.
- User-friendly interface via display or software.
2.1 RFID Label Printer
The printer must meet the following minimum requirements:
- RFID labels with synthetic face stock, resistant to:
- Solvents and acids.
- UV radiation and temperature fluctuations.
- Thermal transfer labels with integrated RFID inlays.
- Label size range:
- Minimum: 50 x 25 mm
- Maximum: 100 x 150 mm
- Label core: 3-inch (76 mm), outer diameter up to 200 mm.
- RFID chip specifications:
- Minimum 96-bit EPC memory.
- Additional user memory is preferred.
- Read/write range of at least 3 meters.
2.2 RFID Label Types
The printer must be compatible with the following:
- Thermal transfer ribbons (resin or wax-resin).
- Chemically resistant.
- Sized to match label width.
- Standard color: black (other colors optional).
2.3 Ribbon Requirements
- UHF EPC Gen2 / ISO 18000-6C compatible
- Read speed: > 200 tags/second
- Read range: minimum 3 meters, ideally up to 6 meters
- Operating system: Android (v9+) or Windows CE/Mobile
- Connectivity: Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB
- Sync with data management system
- Touchscreen interface
- Optional: 1D/2D barcode scanning
- Battery life: minimum 8 hours
- Rugged build: Minimum IP65 rating
- Multi-antenna support (minimum 2 ports)
- EPC Gen2 support
- Read range: 4–6 meters
- Connectivity: Ethernet, PoE optional
- Compatibility with proposed data management system
2.4 RFID Scanners / Readers
Handheld RFID Scanners
Fixed RFID Readers (Optional)
- Label design and printer control functionalities.
- Database integration (MySQL, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, or API-based).
- Features for:
- Scanning, tracking, and historical logging of items.
- Exportable reports (PDF, Excel).
- Multilingual interface (at least English and Dutch).
- User management and data export capability.
The system/software must offer:
- Installation manual and implementation assistance.
- At least two (2) user training sessions (on-site or virtual).
- Minimum 12-month warranty and technical support.
- Option for maintenance contracts is an asset
- Delivery location: Zinniastraat 35, Paramaribo (Suriname, South America)
- Delivery timeline: Within 4 (four) weeks after purchase order confirmation.
- Please indicate if shipping and installation costs are included.
Submitted quotations must include:
- Detailed price quotation in USD or SRD
